我熱愛收聽廣播。它是讓我通向世界的窗口。
在80年代末期，當我還住在宿舍時，我常常把一台小的收音機藏在枕頭裡，因為宿舍不允許使用收音機。
有一天晚上，當我準備睡覺並還在掃描頻道時，我聽到了一首中文歌曲，還有人用英語說話。
電台的識別告訴我這是「自由中國之聲」，並在結束播音前說了它的地址。
我寫信給這家位於台灣的電臺，隨後他們給我寄來了電臺貼紙和明信片。
在2000年代初，我買了我的第一台短波收音機，令我驚訝的是，這家電臺還在播出，但它現在叫「中央廣播電臺」。
對我來說，收聽短波廣播節目是一種不停滯的學習。我可以聽到外國音樂，並學到很多關於其他國家的知識。
在我收聽的眾多短波電臺中，我特別喜愛中央廣播電臺，因為它有非常好的聽眾互動節目、有定期的比賽、每月不同的主題、問答環節，等等…
隨著時間的推移，隨著網路的進步和普及，許多短波電臺已經關閉並轉移到線上。然而，中央廣播電臺到目前為止仍然是唯一一家仍在播出的短波電臺。
在我們國家，我每天上午11點到中午12點都能聽到它。在結束上午的休息並在吃午餐之前，這一小時的聆聽讓人感到愉快。
多年來，我熱衷於收聽中央廣播電臺，收集了滿滿幾本的QSL卡和明信片，還有T恤。

1. I love listening to the radio. It was my window to the world outside.
In the late 80s, while still living in a dormitory, I used to hide a small transistor radio in my pillow as it was not allowed.
One night, when I was about to sleep and while still scanning the frequency dials, I heard a Chinese song and someone speaking in english.
The station ID said that it is the ” Voice of Free China ” and it gave its address before it signed off.
I wrote to the radio station located in Taiwan and, in turn, it sent me station stickers and postcards.
When I acquired my first Shortwave radio in the early 2000s I was surprised that it was still on air but it was now called ” Radio Taiwan International.
For me, listening to shortwave radio programs is a continuing education . I got to listen to foreign music and learn many things about other countries.
Among the many shortwave radio programs that I listened to, I was very fond of Radio Taiwan International as it has a great listeners interactive programs. It has regular contests, monthly themes, questions and answers portions…
In time, as the internet improved and became so mainstream, many shortwave radio stations have closed shop and migrated online. However, Radio Taiwan International, as of now, is the only shortwave radio station still broadcasting on air.
In our country, I hear it from 11:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. It’s a one hour listening pleasure while taking a rest to end the first half of the day and right before eating our lunch.
In the many years that I have been avidly listening to Radio Taiwan International, I was able to collect albums full of QSL and postcards and also give away T Shirts.

2. I am a ham radio operator and I mounted the first sticker I received from Radio Free China in the late 80s on my high frequency radio. It is now called Radio Taiwan International.
